Culture hike along the watercourses in the Upper Venosta

Hikes/trips Mals
During the guided hike, you will learn everything worth knowing about the ancient irrigation channels and the benefits on the Monte Sole in Upper Vinschgau Valley. Afterwards, we will stop at the Vusuem in Sluderno and get to know the land and people of the Vinschgau Valley in an entertaining way.

"Waalwege" are the names of the characteristic hiking trails that run along the slopes of the Vinschgau Valley without any significant inclines. They accompany as paths the narrow water channels that were built centuries ago and served the people until the 19th century to irrigate their fields. Today the Waalwege are among the most popular hiking trails in South Tyrol.
