The Valley Matsch 

 

You can reach the Valley Matsch from the village Tartsch and it goes northwards until the end of the Valley on a height of 2000 metres over sea-level. If you can enter the valley you can have a marvellous view: Weißkugel, Upiakopf, ect.

The hamlet Matsch is part of the municipality of Mals and it could keep its unspoiled rural character.

In summer the Valley Matsch is an ideal starting point for different hiking toours: Oberetteshütte (2677 metres over sea-level), Pasture of Matsch, Spitzige Lun, and others.

The enormous mountains of this fascinating Valley are interesting also in winter: Weißkugel, Rabenkopf, Pleres, Portles, Saldur, Upiakopf, Ramudl, Litzner and many more are demanding ski-tours.
