Vintschger Museum 

 

In the Vintschger Museum the ecological, social and cultural side of the Vinschgau Valley is reflected.

The part "Archaic Vinschgau" presents the archaeology of the valley together with the finds of Ganglegg from the Bronze, Iron and Romanesque Age.

Another important part of the museum is the water. The museum shows the irrigation system of the extremely dry Vinschgau Valley. Since the Middle Ages the water ditches have been the irrigation system in the Alps.
