St. Veith's Church on the Hill Tartscher Bühel

Lonley and visible from far away, there is the St. Veith's Church on the hill Tartscher Bühel. The tower is one of the oldest from the 11th century. In the church you can see parts of Romanesque frescos. The Engadinean wars (1499) left their traces.

In the interior you can see different mural paintings such as two fighting lake-monsters, a man with a beard and the Apostles. The partly destroyed frescos are from the time around 1200.
